NANA'S PLANTS
Growing Wellness
When Susie lost Kirk she took the plants home from the funeral and kept them alive, every year taking cuttings and sharing. Over the years her plant collection began to grow. From just a few plants to hundreds. When our center moved to our Spring Street location she wanted to bring the plants to share them with the community. Plants were her therapy and you can often find her singing and talking to her plant babies.

When you walk into the center you will be surrounded by so many of Nana's plants. On Tuesdays she takes them to the local farmers markets to share them and information about the center with our community. In the last few years we have shared hundreds of plants with members of our community. People will make a donation and take home one of Nana's little lovely plants.

If you are near Downtown Douglasville come by the center and see the many beautiful house plants, succulents, and outdoor plants we have. All plant adoption proceeds go to help fund services and programs offered to families in need.
